Summer In The City

Life without love is like a year without summer
Going from March to June, the summer season is the hottest time in most of the parts of India.  Hot winds and scorching sun are the two most inseparable couple of Indian summer. And because of this horrifying couple, Indian hates summer season.

Why we hate summer? Because of the following :
  • Heat
  • Sweat
  • Tiredness and so many other reasons...
We are giving such silly reasons to hate lovely summer. Then why can't we love summer?
You will be amazed by going through the reasons to love summer.

When summer comes I always think about mangoes, litchis, ice-creams, milk-shakes, juices, lassi, coconut water... I can't stop myself thinking about them.

For school students, it’s the most-awaited fun-filled time. For others, it’s the nostalgia of the good old days. For mothers, it’s quality time with kids (and obviously fun time also).

People are heading to hill stations like Naintial, Rishikesh, Shimla, Almora to have a good time.
Goa, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu, Pondicheri beaches have sea of faces visiting the places. And then light and less clothes makes you feel much much better to enjoy summer holidays in beaches. But don't forget to put on your sunglasses and sunscreens at the same time. Swimming is the best workout and activity in the summer season to enjoy.

Always keep yourself hydrated throughout the day by drinking water, juices(better avoid sweeteners) and coconut water is the best drink for the summer seasons. It keeps you refreshed and hydrated and keeps you active and healthy.

Most of us prefer to drink cold water or cold beverages to cool down their temperature and to get relief from the heat but, many of us don't know that cold beverages are the most harmful drinks to have including cold or iced water. It increases your heart rate in order to bring back your body temperature to normal. And also cold water makes your fat deposit harder under the skin which makes it more difficult to burn your calories. So avoid drinking cold beverages as much as possible.

Always carry umbrella to avoid the sun exposure which will save you from heat strokes. Carry your water bottle so that you can drink whenever you feel thirsty. Avoid eating spicy foods outside which can irritate your stomach.
The humid weather in India makes you sweat like anything but do you know there are many benefits of sweating. Sweating helps you reduce your weight and its cleans out the body toxins. It removes the dead skin cells of your skin making it look more younger and fresh. Sweating decreases the aging process because it keeps your skin moisturized every time from inside. Start loving summer season from now.
